The Air America Virtual Museum

One of Allen Cates' proudest achievements has been helping establish the Air America Virtual Museum, an online archive dedicated to preserving the history of Air America and the men and women who served with the airline during the Cold War and the Vietnam era.

Working with the Air America Association, Allen helped develop the concept of a permanent digital museum that preserves photographs, documents, artifacts, and personal stories for future generations. While a traditional museum was financially impractical, a virtual museum makes this unique history accessible to visitors worldwide.
